South Wales' leading provider of bespoke temperature-controlled warehousing and distribution services, Wild Water Group have recently upgraded their fuel management system as they continue to improve their carbon footprint.
The company, who currently have 8 cold stores split between South Wales and Southern England and operate a fleet of 40 vehicles including trailers, HGV’s, and vans, have added a new Merridale MX-P heavy-duty pump to their existing Merridale system in replacement of a third-party pump.

We had already installed a Merridale Auditor GX alongside our existing kit in 2013, all linked up to their FuelWorks software. Merridale FuelWorks is the choice of many large fleet operators and local authorities, with over 1400 sites already in the UK. Each week more fleet operators switch to FuelWorks, taking advantage of this low-cost subscription-based service, securely hosted by Merridale.

On FuelWorks, Wild Water said ““The FuelWorks software is very easy to use and allows for better management and control of our fleet and fuel. For me, the stock prediction and level alert features are key. With this, we can not only ensure we never run out but also be made aware of any leaks or thefts. The reporting aspects of the software have also been very beneficial to us, especially as we use them towards our environmental and carbon emissions data.”
Fleet operators who wish to upgrade existing Merridale equipment to use FuelWorks need not worry about replacing existing hardware to do so. Merridale can upgrade most existing systems to make them compatible with FuelWorks, no matter how old the system is.
