Following an extremely busy twelve months, Merridale are pleased to report record turnover for the second year running.
The Wolverhampton-based fuel and tank management specialists have yet again found themselves celebrating record performance across all business lines this year, ensuring that they remain in a great position to continue to support their new and existing customers.
National Sales Manager, Paul Russell said “The success lends itself to an increased demand for Merridale’s high-quality fuel management systems and web-based software, FuelWorks. We have provided software upgrades to many of our existing customers this year and have also installed record numbers of equipment for new customers.”
With the cost of pretty much everything increasing significantly over the last twelve months, fleet operators are now extremely keen to monitor the fuel process accurately and account for every drop they use. A robust fuel management process can help to bring a company’s fuel bill down and give them much more control.
Merridale’s highly accurate heavy-duty fuel pumps, coupled with their secure integrated fuel management systems, ensure that the customer has a reliable way of capturing the accurate and actionable information they need as part of this process.
Paul added “Our sales team has been flat out this year consulting with customers, making the necessary recommendations, and taking high levels of orders. Despite the industry having faced numerous supply chain challenges this year, our production, installation, office, and support teams have worked tirelessly to ensure that orders have been fulfilled on time.”
As Merridale’s performance continues to grow, so does the team needed to support the ever-increasing requirements. Several new starters, both office and field-based, have been recruited this year to ensure that Merridale maintains its high response levels across all services.
Merridale has also invested in improved back office processes this year, expanded its fleet of vehicles, and increased its installations capacity. On-going development work continues with further improvements due to their fuel management range and web-based software in the coming months.
