Positive Reception to Merridale’s MX Series

Representing the transition to high quality stainless steel enclosures, the Merridale MX Series, depot fuelling equipment, received a positive reception on its launch at the 2017 Commercial Vehicle Show.

ATEX Certified

“Generally recognised as the go-to event for anyone involved in the transport, logistics and associated equipment manufacturers, the CV show provides the opportunity to meet old friends and customers as well as a large number of new business prospects,” says sales director, Stephen Hannan.

“we continue to support our existing users and in particular, all new product developments are fully compatible with previous generation Merridale equipment”

“Being under the same roof as several competitors enables Merridale to differentiate its products and position itself as a market leader. The introduction of the MX Series this year, has shown how Merridale remains committed to building on its reputation for quality, rather than pushing down standards to lower prices.

“Moreover, we continue to support our existing users and in particular, all new product developments are fully compatible with previous generation Merridale equipment.”

Merridale showcased three new products. The MX-P diesel/gasoil pump: the MX-I, which is an Integral diesel/gasoil pump with built in fuel management and the MX-T tank contents management system.  All were well received and visitors comments confirmed the trend towards more compact installations with reduced unit dimensions for easier handling and installation.

Stand out features included the single volume dispensed/totaliser display removing the requirement for separate totaliser and displays.

Operators liked the new design for the MX-T Tank management system which now incorporates the tank gauge display, the audible and visual alarm unit and the Zener barriers, all within a single stainless-steel enclosure.

Another popular design feature was the option for high hose installations which allows more flexibility and easier handling when dispensing from depot fuelling points.
